విశాల ద్రవిడ భాషాశాస్త్ర ప్రపంచానికి
మకుటం లేని మహారాజు,
పండితుల మహా పండితుడు!
గోవర్ధన గిరినెత్తిన శ్రీకృష్ణుడివై
మహోన్నత జ్న్యానపర్వతాన్ని అలవోగ్గా ఎత్తినవాడా,
భద్రిరాజు కృష్ణమూర్తీ!!
అంతేలేని సువిశాల మహా వ్యాకరణం నీ దోసిటిలో ఒక చుక్క!
ఈ అనంత జ్న్యాన సాగరాన్ని ఒక్క గుక్కలో ఖాళీ చేసినవాడా!
శోధనా తపస్వీ!
అన్వేషణే జీవన రుధిరంగా దేహాన్ని నడిపించినవాడా!
తెలుగు, ద్రావిడ భాషా విగ్న్యానాలు
నీ దీవెనతోనే కదా పునీతమయ్యాయి!
తెలుగు శబ్ద మూలధాతు శోధనం,
వృత్తిగత మాండలిక పదకోశ సంకలనం
నీ కీర్తి పర్వతాలపై మెరిసే రెండు మహా శిఖరాలు...
విగ్న్యాన కేంద్రాలూ, విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలూ
కేవలం నీ స్పర్శతో, బోధనతో
ఎంత గౌరవాన్ని పొందాయి!!
నీలాంటి మేధో మూర్తులు సదా ఖ్యాతిలో సజీవులు
అసమానం నీ ప్రదానం!
లోలోతుల్లో వేళ్ళూనుకుంది కదా నీ ప్రభావం!!
కాలపురుషుడొక విధివంచిత చోరుడు
వేరు దారి లేక నిను మన లోకం లోంచి అపహరిచుకెళ్ళినా
అమరుడవు నీవు!
అమూల్యమైన కాలపు ఖజానాలో
నువ్వు జీవించేవుంటావు అనంతంగా ....

The twin peaks in your bigger mountainous fame
Universities and seats of learning are honoured
Your gracious presence and lectures are the worth.
Learned men of your status live in the body of name
The contributions unrivalled, the impact deeprooted
Time the dutiful thief, has stolen you from our world
